THEME "Our Pulse, Our Heartbeat, Our Soul" The theme evokes our common experience of being in a school that pulsates with life and energy throughout its 40 years of history. 40 PROJECTS OF GIVING
In line with our 40th Anniversary celebration, the school completed 40 Values-in-Action (VIA) projects since March 2021. This is part of our journey in growing our Woodlanders to become Community Youth Leaders.
NAGOMI ART | |
The Craft and Technology Department introduced Nagomi Art to the school population to build mental wellness. Through the creative process, staff and students learnt a mindful way to help sooth emotions, calm down and relax the mind, as well as to produce heart warming art pieces as gifts for the 40th Anniversary. Pastel Nagomi Art is a form of healing art founded in Japan, which uses powered pastels to create a transparent, gentle, warm and heart-touching art through simple yet unique ways of painting techniques. The word “Nagomi” carries the meaning of harmony, calm and peace |

APPLIED LEARNING PROGRAME (ALP)
The Science Department organises and conducts two programmes for our lower secondary students - drinks making using molecular gastronomy and programming with microcontroller. Through these programmes, we aim to spark students’ interest in science and develop the joy of learning science. Students also get to experience inquiry learning and the application of science in real life.
DECK.TOYS TRAIL | |
Deck.Toys is an online classroom platform that allows teachers to teach and engage students interactively. This year, the entire school population will help locate a time capsule that was hidden and scheduled to open at our 40th anniversary celebrations through solving the puzzles in Deck.Toys. |
